Floral Preservation FAQ
Thank you for considering us to preserve such meaningful flowers.
Please review the following information before placing your order.
Once we receive your order, we will contact you directly to discuss your preservation piece, review the applicable policies, and coordinate the details of receiving your bouquet.
Our floral preservation pieces are artistically designed and composed by professional florist using the best-preserved flowers and botanical material from your bouquet. Because each piece is individually created, the final composition is determined by the designer based on the flowers that preserve most beautifully.
We preserve flowers with the goal of maintaining their natural character. I.e. their shape, texture, and color as closely as possible. However, flowers are natural, living materials. Oxidation and the preservation process may cause natural color shifts, fading, darkening, or other changes in appearance. These variations are an inherent part of working with real flowers and are not considered defects.
Local Availability & Bouquet Pickup
Floral preservation is currently available only to local Connecticut couples who can either:
- Drop off their bouquet at our Colchester studio, or
- Arrange for us to pickup your bouquet from an eligible Connecticut location.
Bouquets must be received within one to two days after your ceremony to give the flowers the best possible opportunity for successful preservation.
Pickup is subject to location and scheduling, and a pickup service charge applies. For same-night wedding pickup, an additional $50 fee applies immediately, in addition to the applicable standard pickup service charge.
Whether you are dropping off your bouquet or we are picking it up please select pick up at our check out page to avoid the delivery fee meant for our fresh flower delivery services.
We do not accept bouquets shipped by mail or courier. At this time, preservation services are not available for couples outside our local Connecticut service area.
Important Information
Payment in full is required before preservation work begins.
All sales are final. Because each preservation piece is custom-made from irreplaceable floral material and created specifically for the client, orders cannot be canceled, returned, or exchanged once preservation work has begun.
By commissioning a preservation piece, you acknowledge you have read and agree to all terms described here in and acknowledge that the finished work will reflect the natural characteristics of the flowers provided, including any color, shape, texture, or dimensional changes that occur during preservation.
