Delivery Policy (Local)
Our local same day flower delivery prices range from $10.00-$15.00
A local delivery fee will be added to each order, for each address.
U.S. orders must be received before 11:00 A.M. in the recipient’s time zone to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day.
We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at specific times of day, but we cannot guarantee it.
Delivery of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed.
Our delivery services and prices are not for our weddings and private events. Please contact us directly to schedule a consultation.
Shipping Policy (Out of state)
At Tale of Flowers, we are delighted to offer shipping for select non-perishable items across the United States.
What We Ship:
- Non-perishable items such as artworks, jewelry, toys, and stuffed animals are available for shipping within the U.S. (outside of Connecticut included).
- Preserved floral pieces and Christmas greens are also eligible for shipping.
What We Do Not Ship:
- Fresh flowers and live plants are not available for shipping outside of our local delivery area. These are only offered for in-person delivery or pickup due to their perishable nature.
Shipping Rates:
- A flat shipping fee of $15.00 applies to all non-perishable orders shipped within the United States.
We take care in packaging your items securely to ensure they arrive safely and beautifully. Once your order is placed, you will receive tracking information as soon as your package is on its way.
All sales are final. Damages must be reported within 24 hours.
Don’t Delay!
To help assure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, place your order at least one day prior to the following major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Easter, Administrative Professionals Week, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Father’s Day, Independence Day and Labor Day. For your convenience our shop is open throughout the holidays.

Substitution Policy
Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers in various parts of the country. We take extreme care & diligence to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value.
In single-flower arrangements, such as an all-rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the color / flower type but may substitute with another color. Flowers vary per season.
