Booking Process

Please fill out the form below to begin your work order. Once we receive and review your order form, we’ll email you an intake form to gather additional information about your event, floral preferences, and vision. After reviewing your responses, we’ll schedule a complimentary 30-minute phone consultation to confirm your order details, discuss your preferences, and ensure we’re on the same page before moving forward and completing the booking process.

Customizations

We offer customization of style and color for our à la carte wedding florals. While we do not guarantee exact designs or replications, we will make every effort to accommodate your preferences based on seasonal availability and your established budget. For a more personalized design experience with greater flexibility, please inquire about our
custom full-service weddings.

Finalizations & Payment

To protect your investment and ensure your flowers arrive in excellent condition, all wedding floral orders include delivery and setup. Pickup is not available.

A delivery and setup fee of 20% of your work order total will be applied, along with Connecticut sales tax of 6.35%.

To reserve your wedding date with Tale of Flowers, a signed contract and a 25% retainer are required.

Your final balance must be submitted at least 30 days before your wedding date. At this time, we will schedule a final consultation to review your work order, confirm your final numbers, and discuss any necessary adjustments.

Loose Blooms for Photographer’s Flat Lay details
We will provide your photographer with an assortment of focal flowers and foliages used in your floral designs that they can use for their flat lay detail shots that incorporate the details of your day I.e. your invitations, ring boxes, perfume & colognes, and other sentimental trinkets.

Grounded Meadows are a great way to enhance different areas of your ceremony & reception place. They can be used to frame the couple at the alter, markers for the aisle, placed on mantels, on the floor in-front of the sweet heart table, and other places of interest.
